At Jumeirah International Nurseries, we are dedicated to nurturing your child in a way that reflects your hopes and aspirations as a parent.

We consider you and your child an important part of our community. We listen to your needs, involve you in your child’s education and believe that strong partnerships with parents are essential to every child’s growth and development.

THE PARENT APP

Jumeirah International Nurseries uses the Parent App, a vibrant and interactive platform that allows us to track learning and share special moments with parents. It is our primary communication tool and enables you to follow your child’s development more regularly and in real time.

The app gives parents a more immersive view of what their child is doing at the nursery and the context in which they are taking part in different activities, helping you better understand their overall growth and development.

It also allows you to contribute observations from home, whether your child achieves something for the first time or has a meaningful experience during a holiday. This creates a more comprehensive learning journey and strengthens the role of parents as partners in their child’s early learning and development at Jumeirah International Nurseries.

PARENT INVOLVEMENT

We have a range of systems to promote parent involvement at Jumeirah International Nurseries, which include:

Providing weekly and monthly newsletters covering topics, activities and upcoming events.

Holding parent information evenings every six months.

Holding educational workshops for parents.

Maintaining an open-door policy for parents to speak with staff.

Inviting parents to take part in special events.

Being flexible, where possible, with session changes and additional sessions.

Providing daily feedback on your child’s wellbeing.

Our Parent Volunteer groups channel the positive spirit, goodwill and creativity of our families to enrich children’s learning experiences and strengthen relationships between the nursery, parents and children. The groups support fundraising initiatives and help with the planning and organisation of events. They also encourage a strong sense of community by bringing parents together to socialise, have fun and build meaningful connections with one another, the children and our staff. Through their involvement, Parent Volunteer groups promote goodwill and contribute positively to the wider nursery community.
