Most of our parents choose JINS because of the reputation of our staff and the quality of our facilities. We have around 500 + children registered within the Nurseries – some are with us for one day and some are with us 5 days a week.
We are the only local nursery with specialist facilities to take children aged 0 – 36 mths and we usually have several pregnant mums who have pre-booked a place for their child. Importantly, our Nursery is managed by an experienced Nursery Managers and our children are therefore exposed to a particularly rich and dedicated educational environment.
We find that many parents of our older children choose to leave their children in our Nursery rather than opt to go to a School in July 2021, 95% of our 3 yr. olds stayed with us rather than going to a school FS1. The reason is because of our adult to child ratios are much more favourable than school FS1.

The demographics of Dubai are changing and JINS intend to be a part of every community to deliver a quality Early Years education in exceptional settings.
The JINS brand is much sought after, and parents come to us for the quality of service and resources we have to offer as well as for classroom practices and the Early Years Curriculum applications we have developed with over 40 years of experience.
The staff across all the branches are qualified teachers with either B Ed, BSc in Childcare, NVQ3 Nursery Nurses, Cache Level 3 and or 2.
All are full-time teachers and Learning Support Assistants.
We are truly International in terms of staffing which give JINS the unique blend of cultural diversity and experience. UK, US, Canada, South Africa, Australia, Bahamas, Bermuda, India, Serbia, Kenya, Cameroon, and Philippines is where our qualified staff come from.
Before we take staff on board, they undergo rigorous selection process with 3 phase interview and practical assessment procedure. Once they are on board the staff are trained to JINS philosophy- to design, adapt, explore, and review inspirational learning modules developed over years of experience.
Our teachers also keep up with the latest practice in Early Years, continually developing new skills.
The JINS system is designed to provide the latest educational resources and materials in a print-rich friendly environment which stimulates every child’s imagination, along with cutting-edge learning spaces and opportunities.
The JINS transitional pathway ensures an individual attention to children via regular observations, planning, assessments and feedback for developing their unique potential. We create a warm, welcoming environment where children grow from bundle of joy to bundle of curiosity. We also offer enrichment programmes and supplemental educational opportunities which complement our curriculum practices like Sticky kids, Rhythmic beats, Aqua kids, Marhaba and Bonjour language programme and much more.
Jumeirah International Nurseries have a wonderful selection of fully-equipped “inoutainment” (inside and outside) areas to help children develop fully whilst they explore the British Early Years Foundation Stage and IPC Framework (Year 1 children).
Facilities also include outdoor areas such as grass zones with “get active sessions”, play zone with a range of climbing apparatus, as well as indoor and outdoor sand and water play areas. All this in addition to versatile physical activity zones in all our classrooms.
The Nurseries also offer a well-stocked library, interactive and multipurpose zones and well-resourced classrooms.
The pride and joy of JINS is the Zig Zag Zoom indoor edutainment center offering a role play area which is regularly transformed into various activity zones.
The Nursery caters to working, non-working and visiting parents who want to provide their children with supervised, safe edutainment at their convenience.
The best approach is to complete the online application form because while we expect to be very busy from the start of the term, we would like to cater to all the children in our immediate community.
Children enrolled in the:
Early class between 7:00 am to 8:00 am can eat their breakfast at the Nursery, where parents can provide, fruit, porridge, yogurt and whole grain no added sugar cereals.
Morning Programmes 8:00 am to 1:00 pm children can bring in one snack, which can be fruits, veggies, yogurt, finger sandwich etc. and a proper hot lunch in a thermos flask, like rice pasta, stews, whole grain sandwich.
Afternoon Programme 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm children can bring a drink like milk or a smoothy with dried fruits like, pineapple, banana, apple, orange etc.
At JINS, we support parents by providing healthy option suggestion for children snack and lunch and afternoon tea. Please note that we do not dispose any unconsumed food. All the leftovers are sent home for parents to be aware of what the children have eaten.
Parents also need to be provided nurseries with nappies, cream, and spare clothing just in case. Some children have special comforters which are also welcome at the Nursery. The Nursery has introduced cooked lunches – these are produced by a catering company an additional cost per day. The Nursery provides water throughout the day.
Parents are required to telephone or email the Nursery if the child is ill. Due to staffing commitments, we are unable to refund families for days absent due to sickness. If your child becomes ill during our care, we will closely monitor the child and immediately contact parents. In an emergency we will make a judgement if it is necessary to quickly take a child to the closest hospital.
It is important that the welfare of all the children in the Nursery is safeguarded and for this reason a child with a contagious illness should not be brought into the Nursery and will require a doctor’s clearance.
The booked registration times form part of a complicated jigsaw that needs to be accurately staffed according to child/adult staffing ratios.
However, where it is possible we will try to accommodate small changes provided that we are informed by the 15th of each month for the following month. It is not possible to swap one day for another without altering the registration.
Verbal communication is always good, but it is always encouraged to confirm potential alterations by email.
As the adult/child ratios are statutory, we are obliged to monitor drop off and pick up times and if necessarily have the registration times adjusted. Punctuality is therefore important because if children arrive before their booked time the adult/child ratios in the Nursery may be affected.
Children should never be collected late.
The Nurseries are a secure facility and access is strictly controlled. All parents or carers are met at the door by a member of staff. Parents or carers must be recognised to gain entry.
Occasionally, a child may be collected by another nominated person – in this case an ID must be presented. Without the ID we will not hand over a child. The parent would have to complete the authorisation pickup form.
Each child has a Key Person who will maintain a progress file on that child. These files contain the EYFS or IPC record.
The quality of our progress files is a feature of our Nursery, and these are always available for parents to view.
On a day-to-day basis all staff know the needs of all children and staff work as a team to create and develop each child. Our children/staff ratios are always generous and there is always the opportunity to receive feedback from staff about a child’s day.
More formally, we undertake to offer a Parent Meeting throughout the year as well as a transition meeting during the term around the time of your child’s second birthday. We will also keep you posted about your child’s development via our parent communication app.
