OUR STORY
When Mrs Shakuntala Mankani, Founder of Jumeirah International Nurseries and Fortes Education, arrived in Dubai with her husband and young child in 1964, she carried with her a strong belief in the power of education.
In 1981, Mrs Mankani and her daughter, Veena, established Jumeirah International Nurseries with a clear purpose: to create a nurturing and inspiring place where young children could flourish. Today, we are proud to celebrate 45 years as one of the region’s most trusted early childhood education providers.
We started small, but with a bold vision: to provide an outstanding early years education for children and families across the communities we serve.
Our core mission has always been to help young children learn, grow and flourish. Jumeirah International Nurseries was founded on the belief that when a child’s values, character and overall wellbeing are nurtured, both academic and personal success will follow.
Over the decades, Jumeirah International Nurseries has helped shape trusted early years practice in the UAE. We have welcomed more than 20,000 graduates and earned an exceptional reputation as a trusted partner for families across the communities we serve.
After completing their early years journey with us, children have the opportunity to continue their education at our sister schools, Regent International School and Sunmarke School.

OUR FACILITIES
Our rich and inviting Reggio Emilia-inspired centres are thoughtfully designed to give young learners the freedom to experiment, explore and create.
Our spacious outdoor areas extend learning beyond the classroom, giving children opportunities to discover the world through sensory exploration, movement and physical play. Mud kitchens, gardens and nature-inspired spaces help children build confidence, curiosity and a meaningful connection with the natural environment.
Jumeirah International Nurseries is located across vibrant communities in Dubai and Sharjah. Our locations include Al Safa, Downtown Dubai, Villanova, Ibn Battuta Mall, JBR, Palm Jumeirah and Al Mamsha, Sharjah.
Our nurseries in The Greens and JVT are located within the campuses of Regent International School and Sunmarke School respectively, offering children a smooth and reassuring connection to the next stage of their educational journey.
