NUTRITION PROGRAMME

 

A well-balanced diet is vital to a child’s health. What children eat can influence their mood, behaviour, concentration and, most importantly, their physical and mental development.

Our food provider, Baby Eats uses fresh and organic ingredients. Its menu is carefully planned to ensure that children receive a varied range of foods designed to provide the essential daily nutrients needed to support good health.

We believe it is important for children to enjoy something nourishing at snack time as well as at lunch. We therefore ask parents to pack a healthy, balanced snack and lunch for children enrolled in the morning programme, along with an additional mid-afternoon snack or tea for those continuing into the afternoon programme.

It is also important for children to enjoy their meals together in a community setting with their friends in their bubbles.

TRANSPORT

Jumeirah International Nurseries uses an independent third-party bus operator, My Bus Transport Services LLC, to make the nursery journey as convenient as possible. My Bus provides an efficient, air-conditioned transport service to various areas across Dubai.

The transportation fee must be paid in advance at the beginning of each term, together with the tuition fee. Transportation fees and regulations are subject to change at any time.

UNIFORM:

We believe that children should feel as comfortable as possible and encourage parents to ensure that they wear comfortable Jumeirah International Nurseries uniforms.

Not only does this support children as they take part in messy, multisensory activities, but our uniform also helps create a strong sense of community across our nurseries.

PURCHASE UNIFORMS ONLINE HERE

For safety reasons, we advise that the children should avoid buckles, belts and other design elements such as fringes, tags, loops, and hoods. Shoes should be easy fastening (no laces).

Uniform is compulsory for children aged from one to six years. Children aged from 45 days to one year are not required to wear the Jumeirah International Nurseries uniform. Children are required to wear the Jumeirah International Nurseries uniform for annual photographs and nursery trips.

Jumeirah International Nurseries T-shirts are available in a variety of colours and sizes. Shorts and skorts are also available to purchase from the Nursery Online Store.
